What, you finally perfected your time machine and as proof of such you're showing us all of these fine examples of vintage S&W and Colt revolvers you brought back? That's it, isn't it?

That's a nice one. I'm a fan of the "Model 15" and I'm a sucker for those diamond grips for some reason. I've both a '53 Combat Masterpiece with diamond magna's, and a '66, 15-2 with diamond targets.

Absolutely beautiful. I was an Air Force Combat Arms Instructor back in the day when the issue sidearm was the S&W 15. As an instructor we got our pick of the training weapons to carry. We actually had an ancient S&W 14 with a 4 inch bull barrel. It has the smoothest double action I have ever shot. With that smooth action and heavy barrel it felt like cheating shooting her.

I miss the classic K-frames. Congratulations on your find!

The Diamond target grips had come from S&W on this M15-1 due to having been ordered by it's 1st owner/collector. Unfortunately there's no going rate here in CA for not only M15's but for any classic revolvers like this. I got my M15-1 from a fellow collector who had a desire for a pistol I owned and despite him not being willing to sell me this revolver, he was willing to trade guns with me! Naturally I had to jump at this chance because I'd waited years for an opportunity to acquire a M15! I appreciate everyone's compliments above. Glad you enjoyed the photos!

To the fellows above who had posted photos of their beautiful Pre M27 and the beautiful 1976 vintage M27, after making the previous reply both of your postings had disappeared for a reason unknown to me since I'm at a loss to figure this out? But I want you to know that I was equally impressed with both of you guys M27's!

NOTE: I wanted to delete this post but I couldn't find a link-because I had mistakenly posted this here instead of in my S&W M27 posting!
