Dedicated gunsmithing screwdrivers are still better but, IMO, everyone should have one of these around anyway:

Once you get the bits you need sorted out you might as well get a Fat Wrench too.

I've done the same thing with the Wheeler gunsmith screwdriver set. I have two of them and have ground several of the flat head bits to fit specific screws.
