They do indeed look quit good, are they cut away enough for speed loaders? The loader cut looks small compared to the grip size.
I would love a model 15.
Everyone should have a S&W model 15...

Really wanted grips with a tad more meat on them than original service grips. These seem to fit the bill nicely, nice enough for a quick share did about the same thing years gone by, 70s when it was a issued duty weapon.when they went to .357 didn't buy it and regretted it. About eight years ago bought one in mint condition from a sheriff's dept/ prison division. Love it, smooth as a frogs hair

Well, S&W buys grips from Altamont, probably other companies as well. The thing about Altamont is you get a good product for a reasonable price. Not a stellar product, but a lot more bang for your buck than you get with a number of other makers. Can you get MUCH nicer grips, yes. Can you get MUCH nicer grips without doubling or tripling the price tag, I think not. My 30-1 wears Altamont Altai grips, and if I ever buy grips for other guns I will start searching at Altamont.View attachment 793538 I’m pretty partial to S&W targets. No offense, but those Altamonts look pretty plain.
It would have to be something special like stag or ivory to get me to use anything but S&W wood grips.
