I gave up trap shooting about 5 years ago and sold most of my shotguns. I also gave away all my shot and components. I have presses that just take up space. Just haven't got them up for sale yet. I just lost interest in the game. I didn't do much in the way of shooting for several years. I've always had an interest in bench rest shooting so purchased a few rifles and now I'm hooked on it. I also shoot a lot more pistol than I used to. Now I reload for both and hit the range once a week with my neighbor.

Sometimes it just takes switching up the format. Buy a pistol caliber carbine and see if that doesn't light a flame. I couldn't tell from your post if you reload or not. If you don't, start. I enjoy that as much as I do shooting. Keeps me sane during the long wet cold winters we have here.
I do reload and got bored with that also. I used to live for working up loads and rushing to the range to test primers, powders, bullets, etc and now that ive found the sweet spots its not fun anymore. I have several thousand .224 bullets and 9mm bullets just waiting to reload but i just don't have the drive for it now.

My buddy and I have a long chat about this last night and he says he is letting his membership to our club expire because he just doesn't use it. He used to live to shoot, reload, etc but now kids and work put a damper on that and he says its just not enjoyable anymore.

I took quite a long break.
I haven't been shooting since last year. Of course I know why.
My wife died in March and I just lost my younger brother two days ago. I don't know when or if I will get back into it again. At this time it just seems pointless to me.
There's more to life than guns!

Truly sorry for your loss. I'm just getting back into it. My wife died on election day 2016, and had been a lot of care for decades, so shooting really didn't seem to be so important. After she died, I was 6 months or more moping around the house, watching the tube, not really seeing anything, totally lost. When I started slowly getting back into life, I bought a PWC and a snowmobile, along with several more guns, though I'm sure I didn't need to. The PWC is a total blast, and I'm on it as much as possible in the summer. The snowmobile-well, we had a crap winter last year, so I didn't get to ride it but once. The range though, I've spent more time at this year than the previous 10 years. Still got some guns I've never shot. I still have bad days once in a while, but I've got a lot of things to help keep my mind off the pain, even if I am alone.

"Range-time" has mostly always beyond bored me. But it's a necessity. Have some more coming up next week. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with public ranges or clubs.

Everyone's interests and pursuits fluctuate with life changes, job changes and moves, loss of loved ones, opportunities, and current situations, but I've never been "bored". When I've had enough of a type of shooting...say pistols on paper, I put them away and shoot sporting clays or 300 yd gongs. Or I might spend an afternoon plinking objects floating down the creek with my Browning BL-22. I'm thinking my deer hunting/shooting habits will change in the next 2/3 of years. I don't hunt ducks anymore and will sell all my steel shot shells. Sometimes my interests take me elsewhere. My wife and I just scheduled a trip to Denver in late August to see Joe Bonamossa at Red Rocks; best blues guitarist on the planet. If guns don't capture your interest much, go do something else, but would caution against selling everything out of "boredom". I heard too many stories of regret.

If golf is not your thing perhaps photography might interest you? Outdoor nature photography might be something you could enjoy? You could hunt for animals with a different goal in mind.
