A few years ago, my wife surprised me with the warhawk by John Cohea. She had found him all on her own, with no input from me. I was floored to say the least. On birthdays and Christmases since, she has surprised me with more of Cohea's work. Two bowies, a little drop point and the driftwood display stand. Plus a bracelet and necklace not pictured. I've posted some of John's studio pics before but very few of my own. The drop point knife I've never posted before. I have also learned a great deal about making rawhide knife sheaths from John's DVD's.

This one has been featured in a few knife books.

Once again I find myself saying: "I like them all"; especially the Warhawk and the two Bowie knives! Museum worthy pieces to be sure! Thanks for sharing!

Gorgeous weaponry! Have you used any of those to quarter your kills?
Probably won't with any of these but I use my other custom knives.

ML Knives Hudson Bay camp knife.

The bowie on top came from a semi-local maker who does fantastic work. This 10" knife taught me that a knife that size could still be practical if executed just right.

Nice! How do you like that natchez bowie? Tinkering around the idea of ordering the marauder from Cold Steel.

I really like it for the money. It's a nicely made, big knife but not unwieldy. Haven't had a chance to actually use it yet though. I need to make a nice leather sheath for it because Homey don't do kydex. ;)

It's the hunter/skinner with the wolf on the handle that catches my eye - that is one beautiful knife. What is the handle material?
