Just got a Governor, for pest control purposes. By all accounts, supposed to be a fun gun to shoot.
Thinking about something SA race gun, next.

I saw a video on one of the satellite channels 8-10 years ago of some Taurus reps were shooting skeet with a Judge. They actually did pretty well. I think they moved in a bit from the standard stations. I'm sure many a skeet range would frown on that but it looked like fun with either a Governor or a Judge.

1. Centerfire semiauto rifle of some kind, still haven't made up my mind even after starting a thread here awhile back
2. Ruger LCR, I have a SP101 on the way in 327 for my woods/hunting revolver. If I'm convinced by the cartridge enough I'll get the LCR in the same otherwise probably a 38 or 9mm
3. M1 Garand. This has been on the back burner for so long now but watching the prices on other milsurps skyrocket I should bump this up in priority before the CMP runs out.
4. Henry .410 lever action shotgun. Trap is about the #1 thing I do gun related most months and would like to change it up. If Henry came out with a 20 gauge or larger this would be bumped up to #1 on my list.
5. Sig 239 in 40 S&W. This was the handgun I was taught on and it just feels like an extension of my hand, was the only gun on the table that day I was able to do a one hole group with too. I'd plan to get a 357 SIG barrel for it as well just to have one more cartridge to mess about with next time the shelves start to go bare.

Of course all this goes out the window if my wife decides she does want to pick up hunting too. Then it is nothing but double barreled shotguns, lever action rifles, and revolvers with her style, not really sure I'd be upset putting my list on hold for that.

1. RIA 6" 2011 in 10mm
2. Kimber Mountain Ascent in .280 AI
3. Benelli Montefeltro Silver in 20 ga

That's about it - but I guess if I had to choose some others....
4. GP100 Match Champion in 10mm
5. Rem Seven 17" with irons in .260 Rem

and lots of suppressors

Stainless bolt rifle,sporter..... .308 with a 24" barrel.Slow twist, with the throat/leade set up for 150's. Topped off with a 1-4x20..... few other little personal touches.

Use it for offhand beercan gun.... 10 months out of the year. Then go drag it around hunting deer and bear for 2 months.

That's about it..... maybe a 25-06 light'ish varmint rig.Stainless as well cause I hunt in the rain alot.... but cerakoted is pretty good too.

357 Ruger SP101, Remington model 11, Johnson M1941. But i don't want any of them bad enough to pay typical prices- it would have to be a great deal.

1. Remington Model 8 or 81 in .35 Rem
2. HK P7
3. CZ Scorpion in .32 ACP
4. Springfield 1903
5. Kar-98
6. Winchester 1897 Trench Gun
7. 1898 Krag carbine
8. 1917 Revolver
9. 1917 Eddystone
10. Innovative Arms suppressed CZ Scorpion

If anyone has any of the above that you are looking to sell, please shoot me a PM.

Here's, my list, would be happy with used in nice shape. Listed in priority order, but would jump on a deal if any came up

1)single six bisley (regular single six works)
2) sbh bisley Hunter 44mag
3) win 94 30-30 AE
4) Henry single shot 45-70
5)cz 550fs , 30-06,270, or 6.5x55 don't
matter which

Honorable mention to SW mountain gun in 41 mag,but they are rare and more than I care to spend.

I also maintain a shortlist. I commented on how I organize it on another thread:
I start with a worksheet that includes what I am interested in. I also have a worksheet that is my short-list. The interested list will typically have an entry for why it isn't on my shortlist. An example would be like this:
Pedersoli Rifle (Double) Kodiak Express MK VI .58 Muzzle-load 010S661540 1,400 Too expensive for the amount of use I expect it to see
Whereas my short list might look like this:
Ruger Rifle (bolt) 77/44 .44 Rem Mag 7401 680 2
CZ-USA Rifle (bolt) CZ 455 American .22 LR 2110 350 1 (this item has a strike-through, that is because it is now listed on the "owned" sheet)
The number on the end of the shortlist items lists my preference. As you can see, #1, the CZ is fulfilled, now the Ruger is at the top of the list. For a gun to move from the, "interested list" to the short-list I will read a lot of reviews and give it a lot of thought.

I realize it seems very convoluted; but it helps me to stay focused when I see something interesting.

All that being said, here is my current shortlist:
Manufacturer Type Model Caliber Stock # price Order of Interest Comment:
Ruger Rifle (bolt) 77/44 .44 Rem Mag 7401 680 2
Uberti Revolver 1862 Police .36 C&B 340710 350 2
Remington (reproductoins) Rifle 1863 Zouave .58 Muzzle-load 910.006 or 010S291580 ~450 3
These two substitute for each other
Enfield (Reproductoin) Rifle 1858 2-Band .58 Muzzle-load 910.004 or 010S220577 ~800 2
Crossman PCP Air Rifle Benjamin Discovery .22 pellet BP9M22GP ~400 3 Includes pump
Browning Pistol 1911-380 .380 ACP 51915492 ~700 1 1911-380 Black Label Medallion Pro Compact

Not much of a list left as I been spending the last 1 1/2 years preparing for the much promoted Democrat takeover of the Government. My list for 2018 is very short.

1. Finish building AR #4. (I have 80% of the parts so it isn't going to take much more to complete it).

5. This probably should (and most likely will be #2) thanks to our chief enabler GunnyUSMC. :D I have a AR Stripped Lower on order and it is against the AR Cult, er Club, rules to allow lowers to remain naked. :uhoh:

Ok, I made it #2 on my short list. Just don't know if it will be a pistol, carbine or rifle (20" barrel).

Other guns I am mildly interested in (i.e. not interested enough to fork out the money yet);

3. Ruger PCC 9mm carbine

4. Ruger SR9 series 9mm pistol.

This is a package deal. I like combo long & hand guns that use the same cartridge and magazines. So two guns and my personal requirement for 10 magazines each and, well, you can see why I have not jumped on the $$$$ bandwagon yet. Now if Ruger or someone makes a magwell that accepts Beretta 92 magazines then the Carbine will be a must buy.

5. Kel-Tec SU-16 .223. I saw and handled one for the first time at a Gunshow yesterday. Way to early for me to buy one as I want to do some in-depth research first but it has me interested.

My main goal is acquiring ammunition, bullets and brass but you said guns.

Well... Of all things a 10/22. I like the idea of a rotary magazine.
Any repo of a rifle using the Martini action. Preferable in a "modern" cartridge that is easily obtained.
Any magazine fed semi-automatic rifle chambered for 30-06. The "holy grail" would be a Browning.
A Sharps breech loading BP rifle in 44 caliber
I would say one of the Lugars built to demonstrate the 45 ACP for the US military but people would be upset with me if I sold the farm and everything on it.
