You just KNOW that an event like this has to give the Secret Service nightmares!!

When I see Kerry with a gun, I always think of Prince Charles. No dout the elite will always be allowed their little eccentric toys. But that doesn't mean the "commoners" should be allowed to own them!

Supposedly, this shot was taken after he missed a clay. Depending on how quickly they snapped the photo, I can maybe overlook the finger lingering on the trigger.

But the lack of eye protection all around is inexcusable.

And like tulsamal, my first thought when I saw this photo (besides "wow that's unsafe") was "the Secret Service must have been pretty jittery".

Does anyone know if Kerry ever served in Vietnam?
He is about the right age. I have never heard him mention it...:rolleyes:

I am glad to know that congress-critters will be allowed to keep 12 gauge trap guns loaded with one ounce of 7 1/2 shot. The rest of us have no need for firearms, ever, under any circumstances.

Its been a topic of high discussion in the campaign. Wounded three times (its just a flesh wound). He came out of Vietnam and did a Hanoi Jane dance on capitol hill.

I'm happy to say that when Kerry's security detail requested the use of our range, our club's board voted "No". :neener: Unfortunately, the trap-only club just to our south allowed him his little photo-op. :rolleyes:

Fella's;

Regarding the 2nd picture. Coupla thoughts crossed my mind. How did that one get past the secret service types? How many secret service types loaded their shorts or watered their socks upon seeing it happen? How many had to supress the urge to yell, 'PULL'?

Has anybody ever seen him with anything more than a dbl' barrel shotgun in any of his gun-toting photo-ops? I have not, I think it shows where he stands on what type of firearm is suitable for the masses......at least is was not a muzzle loader:rolleyes:

He looks like he's playing a guitar in the first pic. Trying his damndest to look like Jimi. Didja know he played bass in a band in the early 60's? Very average sounding for the era...which is the best he could hope for. :rolleyes:

Always sounds to me like he served himself in Vietnam.

As for that second photo, I'd say that's just the angle the photo was taken from, although it also looks like he's ahead of where he should be on the line while another shooter is up although it also looks like the photographer is too.

The rules of safety dont apply to elitist duh lol

We can see how much experience he has with firearms in all these photos :rolleyes: :fire:

A shotgun is a politically correct firearm. The other factor is collector grade shotguns are readily available so if your tastes run to $15,000 for a politically correct firearm you have a better chance of finding one.

Has anyone ever seen a custom engraved AR-15, M-16 or *gack* an AK-47?

And as an alternate analysis I'd say someone has been playing with Photoshop.

Actually yes lol One of the local gunshops here has a Vietnam "Commemorative" AR15 with lots of gold inlaid engraving and even a gold flash hider, they also have an M14 with the same treatment :eek: Then right next to those is the gold AK47 with some sort of engraving, I don't think it has "DA SWITCH" though :D

fella's;

I've got a picture of him leaned over an M-16 attaching a sling to the front of the gun. The barrel is pointed directly at his forehead. I got the pic from another member on this site, for what it's worth.

Better get used to that bloodhound mug, we're gonna see a lot of it the next 4 1/2 years. Wonder who is more dangerous, Kerry with a firearm or Bush with a country.
