So I really want to make my own .300 blk outs. I was "trying" to talk to Dillon about a missing XL650 feeder tube and was shocked at the treatment. I've been out of the loop for around 3 years moving and getting a house built. Built my dream reloading room, nothing like a lot of the ones pictured here. But this one is mine! YEAH!! I built the benches from wood harvested from my lot when it was cleared. Had a mobile saw mill and rough cut the timber. Then I've my own machines to mill the wood to furniture grade. Nice 1.25" White Oak benches. Anyway, setting up the machines I found I was missing the feeder tube from the case feeder to the XL650. Called Dillon and was really surprised how near rude the conversation was. It felt like I was being forced to prove that I had payment for a meal prior to ordering. I was planning on buying the .300blk dies there and not so much now. "Ask THR!" I just got a 2" trimmer and put a stop on it. Really nice job. Lots of brass and now I need the dies. Heck, while I'm here, Sub-sonic bullets? Sales and whose?

I have called dillion on multiple occasions most of them my fault. They have always been very polite and overly eager to make sure I was happy.

For the most part, they have always been more than fair. I’m happy with the three I own and the service I have received.

But yes it has changed since Mike passed.

Lee's 300BLK Dies have done just fine for me.

I like the Lapua 200/gr Subsonic Bullets.
I usually get them from Graf & Sons
They aren't always available.
LAPUA 30(.308)200gr FMJBT BULLET SUBSONIC 100/bx
Item #: LU4PL7060

Lee 300 BLK dies are fine for resizing 300BLK brass. If you're making your own brass from 223, I had to use RCBS Small Base 300 BLK dies; the Lee didn't create them small enough.
