Sometimes you can't say no to a deal, even if you have no idea what you're buying, just that it's super low priced.
That said, I don't own a single magazine using rifle. My levers and .22 auto are all tube fed, but I couldn't say no to these cheaply priced magazines, but what the heck are they? Anybody have a clue?

It's a "big'un" whatever it is. Dwarfs an '06. But not very high capacity either. I'll bet it isnt long before someone knows

With ya there on size. Biggest round I have laying around is 375 H&H and it's dwarfed as well. I used the '06 as more people are familiar with its size than the H&H. Not thinking capacity is a big deal, not sure I'd want to fire too many of those rounds in quick succession.

338 Lapua is 3.7 or so. So what's an inch longer than lapua but shorter than 50 BMG that was used in a single stack mag. Looks military(ish) but no markings seems odd

Just my thinking
But I was thinking more of a reproduction of a military arm. Or converted to semi and imported. I cant imagine any big company leaving their name off. And the cheaply folded edges to hold the floor plate seem more utilitarian than high end. And I would think a true military mag would be marked, as all mine are. Even old ak 74 mags had them. But perhaps there are some that aren't. I'm interested though

Some .408 Chey Tac mags I found online, these look similar:

That Alpha mag has the manufacturer's mark on the back. I don't know what marks the XLR mag has.

Here's another one, on Chey Tac's own website:

I think the giveaway is the third rib, which is wider and deeper on both the OPs mag and the Chey-tac. Nice catch, Odd Job!
