Loaders how we doin?
Man life is Good!! Hope yours is as well.
Now that I got unicorns and rainbows out the way..
Just finished a Glock 22 build with most all second hand parts total cost $319.00 Got some nice deals from good people the tan and black.
Green and black G-19 9mm Black on Black G-20 10mm
So getting ready to load for it, on hand I have jacketted 180gr rnfp, brass, primers and a dozen different pistol powders. Will load a few hundred 180s but what have you had best results with. I really like buying from Jake at RMR so will using 155,165,180gr Hp. Federal HST pulled.
Not a fan of plated.
I mean I could go with published data but we have done the tweeking and I get a far better starting point by asking here.
I guess I can use 180 fmjs if we get excellent results .

With 180 grain bullets I use a mid range charge of Accurate #5, Unique, CFE Pistol, or Ramshot Silhouette, loaded to 1.125 to 1.135 depending on the bullet profile. Jake's plated 40 caliber, as well as others, have been accurate enough. Lately I've been using the Lee 175 TC bullet cast out of wheel weight alloy.

Nice looking Glocks!

I use W231/HP-38 and Sport Pistol for light target loads and BE-86, Herco and WSF for higher velocity loads.

With most 180/165 gr bullets, while SAAMI max OAL is 1.135, I use 1.142" OAL for TCFP bullets and 1.155" OAL for RNFP bullets for my Glock/M&P/Lone Wolf barrels as longer OAL tends to improve accuracy but use the length that will work with your barrel and feed reliably from the magazine - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/40-s-w-powder.851647/#post-11136827

RMR 180 gr RNFP comparison picture of 1.135" vs 1.155". Use of longer then SAAMI max OAL improved accuracy - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...-for-lead-plated-bullets.743416/#post-9363753

I’m old-school. My Glock 22 gets either the Lee 180gr TCFN sized to .401” over 4.0gr of Bullseye or Hornady 155’s or 180’s.
With the Hornady’s, I use WSF (Win SuperField).
155gr gets 6.3gr, 180gr gets 5.5. These are 85% of max, but are very accurate and 100% function in MY gun.

I have loaded many 155 and 180 gr with HS-6 . I found HS-6 works very well for 40s&w, but there are many powders that will work well and the shelf’s are fully stocked nowadays,

Your question is very open ended confusing. Thread says a 40 cal load, then you say 10mm.
You have a dozen powders, and indicate 155,165.180 bullets?

What is your end game? Target loads, Barn Burners?

10MM and 40 work best with fairly slow powders for max velocity.

What powders do you have?

A dozen people can reply and you will get 13 answers.
