10mm Load help....

I have no issues ordering online when it comes to most everything else. The hazmat and the prices online just can't beat my local guys. It certainly isn't because my local place (That carries 75 or so powders I'd guess in 1 lb containers and 10 or 20 up to 8 lb) has a great friendly atmosphere. Lol. Actually he is known for his lack of people skills. I usually just buy 8 lb jugs of unique for 145 or so. 5lb jugs of bluedot are 75. 800x was 16.99 earlier this week for 1 lb. I just can't order and beat that by enough to bother. Even my local(ish) cabelas is 22-28 a lb.
I haven't bought a scope, magazine, or holster from a store in many years though other than the bargain cave. About 50/50 online on bullets, ammo, or even guns.

Cabelas has xtreme plated 10mm bullets reasonable and a mail in rebate for 100 free brass too.

With the Howell Munitions (parent of Xtreme) bankruptcy, I know the rebates got wonky for a while. Are they back running/honoring those?

Also: Have you asked your guy if he can get VV?

As far as the rebate... I'm still waiting on anything back from them and I sent in 3 probably 6 months ago. I also sent in 3 of the Blazer brass (vista outdoors) rebates before christmas and haven't gotten anything back. A couple years ago I sent one in for 100 buck on a savage rifle. I think it was 6 months before I got my card. ( also vista outdoors). As a matter of fact when I check the status of the Blazer brass the rifle one still says pending.


And Yeah. He always has some vv. But isn't very consistent with each kind and ive never seen anything but 1 lb. Even during the panics he never ran out of much of anything. Might not be the brand primers you wanted but u never went for a case and left empty. He is more concerned with hunting exotic animals and going to SHOT shows and such than the store nowdays. I probably have more guns than his store has in stock anymore. He is pretty much just for reloading or special orders these days. He only carries rifles in exotic calibers and names I suppose because He is flanked by stores with more inventory, but they have nearly no reloading supplies. The only place I've ever been with more supplies was a store in Charlotte and it would be close between the two.
