Hate to point people away from this board, but "Check "RimfireCentral.com" for more information on 10-22 improvements than you can imagine.

There is some good info to be had there, but buried under a lot of nonsense.
So bad as to pretty much ruin the place IMHO.

The "Tips and Tricks" reference section has a lot of good information (or it used to).

The stickies aint bad.
I was on there a while, saw some decent experiments/write ups.
Overloaded with nonsense anymore.
Maybe due to growth or the natural forum progression?
I dunno.

Was kinda iffy to me years ago.
Has not improved.

But hey, if others like it.........so be it.

I found the Facebook 10/22 groups to be exponentially worse.

Haven't been on that board lately. I, too found it getting a bit extreme. As far as the 10-22 stuff, I find that it's become a "buy stuff and stick it in/on" mentality and very little of the home-smithed, factory parts modification group.

I still shoot my 10-22, but not as much. It's not quite as accurate as it was, but still does a great job, keeping groups in the 5/8" range at 50 yards with inexpensive target ammo. Having a full-diameter heavy barrel, it's a bit heavier than I like to carry for miles, so it's mostly relegated to the shooting range.
