I just came home and downloaded this vid.
Use a wire saw, a small vice , 60 grit sand paper and a block of wood.
I just need to weld and file, so part 2 soon enough.
My solution to the #!%*& prices of Chinese AK .223/ 5.56 mags
Basicly I took a wire saw and cut alongside the front lockup , removing about 1.5 mm from each cut.
Then I pressed the walls together until they met and stayed. I want to tack and clean these up.
I want to add 5 mm more material below the front lock up, clean it up and I think it will hold the mags front at the right additude.
I sanded the sides of the mag to make fitting the mag smoother when placing or removing the mag.
I also sanded the front top of the mags rounded corners open, sanded from the top.
After pinching the front untilll the cuts closed, I also sanded the sides for smoother entry/exit.
I also sanded about 2 mm off each side of the front sides of the follower.
