Lyman pat'd 1879 Winchester 1886 tang sight

Would be stamped 'N'.

I have a few of these. One of these I have has a base that was shortened and a new hole drilled, so now will not fit on a Winchester 1886.

Now this may be nearly impossible to find, but any ideas where to find an 'N' base so that this sight can be fitted to a Winchester 1886 rifle?

Numrich? You might try Dixie Gunworks, I've seen many parts to old guns in their catalog ....
