Nope. That is an elevation screw for an adjustable sight. The ad says Accro, but it look more like a BOMAR or BOMAR clone screw. The OP's sight is a Novak or Novak clone.

Hate to disagree but that looks like a fixed sight, not adjustable. If so, the set screw is missing which is normally a standard screw pitch, maybe 6-32 or 6-40.

It appears that what you need is an Allen head set screw fixed sight locking screw.
Most any well equipped hardware store will have Allen head set screws.
Most good hardware stores will have a thread checker so you can determine what size you need.

Just buy a shorter size, and if necessary grind or stone it to the length you need if it's not short enough.

I think ace hardware has some gun screw threads

I was talking about the screw in the web link that troy fairweather posted, not the sight in the OP's pic. The OP's sight is clearly fixed.

I think you are correct, but it just may be a finer thread still. Like a #6-48, or as you suggested, #6-40. I don't think many hardware stores carry those finer thread gun screws though, at least not around here they don't. Instead of a slotted screw, I'd suggest a torx style screw. They do hold things down a bit better. If you find out what the actual thread pitch and size is, I can send you a torx screw:

More than likely it is a 5-40 x 1/4" set screw
