I bought it a couple months ago and was planning on using it on my Ruger SR762 but tested it today on a AR-15 carbine S&W.

I have to say I really like it. I like it better than my ACOG which costs a lot more. Can't say to the durability of it compared to the ACOG but it easier for me to use when aiming and has more features. Only downside it takes a battery.

However it has a reticle focus, has a choice of three shades of illuminated green or three shades of red or plain black. Today was a very sunny day it was easier to use in bright light than the ACOG. A soon as a cloud passed over head the illumination really showed bright and clear. The lens is very clear.

I looked at a Primary arms next to this Vortex at the gun show and liked the Vortex much more. After testing it today I'm glad I got it.

So if you are thinking of one, I don't think you would be disappointed. IMG_5474.JPG

Do have one and so far so good .

I have one on my 300 BO pistol and it has been good. I was ringing a 10-inch gong at 200 yards with it using subsonic ammo. It does take batteries but you don't need the batteries. Since it's a prism scope it has a reticle etch in the glass so you still have an aim-point even if your battery dies.

I put one n one of my preban Hungarian Aks in Ultimak mount with Lowest QD rings I could find a couple three years ago.unlike an Aim point M2 it would not Co witness but with an AR stock conversion height is just right. As the reviewer said it seems an excellent sight in every way and enables that AK to be much better than a red dot at 200 meter head shot sized targets than the 1 x Aimpont M2 on the non modified Hungarian I have. I got mine on sale for about $250 as I remember.
