Hi guys, I have a Speer #12 load manual and for 10mm 180 gr. Gold dot bullets it lists AA#7 powder start at 11.0 gr at 1065 fps, 12.0 gr. max at 1180fps. So I loaded up a batch starting with 11.0 -12.0 in 0.2 increments using 180 gr XTP bullets as only change from recipe. I shot 3 of the 11.0 gr. rounds over chrono and got 1266,1275 and 1260. I stopped because my starting powder charge was about 80 fps faster than the books max charge. The test gun they used was a S&W 1006 with a 5" barrel, I was using a S&W 610 revolver with a 3.875" barrel which I think should have been a little under their chrono numbers. If anyone has a different load manual please give me some info. I want to use the AA#7, it meters well, but I will also take any 800-x data as I have it also. Thanks for any help. I don't want to blow up my 610, or take a few fingers off either.
