Three 9mm compacts ?

My best friend had a EAA witness compact. He loved it. Still carries it. Haven't layed hands on the other two so no help with those. It was accurate enough. We did informal range session's in his parents woods. Despite all the haters I loved all of the Tauruses I've had over the year's. Sometimes you get a lemon. But the will fix it for free. Let us know what you decide.

I have a bunch of full-sized Witnesses and have had two of the SAR's (had to trade one though I didn't really want to).

As far as those two go, it's win/win. I like them both. I got my stainless SAR NIB for $249 plus whatever, if that matters. They are both well-made copies of the same pistol, so...

I don't know squat about that particular Taurus, sorry.

The more I learn about the SAR b6 9mm the more I like it. Check out YouTube video SAR b6p torture test by fire mountain outdoors these 2 guys put this pistol through hell

Both of my SAR B6 pistols are/were accurate and reliable, with nice sights and good triggers.

I don't know if SAR makes a steel one. If not, and the OP wants steel, he probably wants to look at a Witness.

The SAR and Witness are both CZ clones. The SAR is Turkish, the Witness is Italian. Both are excellent guns with a great track record. I would trust my life to either one.
The Taurus is a newer model. I think Taurus is doing better with their new models. I hope they can keep up the quality. But still, if it was me, I wouldn't even think twice about it, The SAR or the Witness is the way to go.
