I'm out on the dip, but that looks like a great time.
For me, that beats deer hunting every day.My buddy took his beagle pup out for his first “real” hunt today and he had one race where he circled the rabbit and we got it and another chase on a small bunny. On the way out we heard pheasants cackling and chased them for 45min and limited out. I had a blast and looking to do again.

We planned to deer hunt after lunch but his back was hurting and I was soaked in sweat and tired so I called it a day. I would agree I like pheasant and rabbit hunting more. For me, that beats deer hunting every day.
Some really great tales and pics on this thread. Very enjoyable.
My 17yo son #3 tagged his very first archery deer this evening. A big doe. The broad broadhead passed through by the heart.

He does help. He is in high school. He was in football but after two concussions in football and one from the skiing we thought it best if he didnt play. He agreed to make trapshooting and bowhunting his High school sports. Why isn't he helping you with the harvest???
