Ditto......Model 88 in 284 Win that's a holy rail rifle to me.
It may be awhile yet, but at some point I will have the task of sorting and disbersing my Dad's very large collection as well. I have no doubt there will be many peices which will bring back fond memories of the time we spent at gunshows and rooting through the backrooms of gun and antique shops, as well as a few he built or restored himself. Many of those guns havent seen the light of day in 20 or 30 years. I hope we get a chance to shoot a few before then (we usually shoot my guns since his are stored behind enemy lines in Illinois).Stumbled across this one today. I was 6 when my dad got it.
