What's your favorite mild-to-medium .357 load...

I use 7.2 grs of BE-86 for my medium loads. Most accurate I have found yet. I ditched Unique a long time ago. It doesn't match my life style, don't have time to hand weigh my loads and it won't run accurately through my powder measures, any of them.

BE-86 looks to be a solid powder. That's on my list to try next.

Keep 'em coming!

I haven't had a chance to shoot any new .357 loads in my Model 66. I spent my one range day this week with a new Heritage Rough Rider 6.5" Johnny Boy 22LR/22WMR. I'm still cleaning lead out of the not-so-smooth barrel. (Whadya want for 150 bucks?)

I'm going to order more .357 brass. My last batch was Starline. Any reason not to buy more of that brand? I've had good luck with it in a few calibers.

Starline is great, I use it across the board.

I had a lot of Federal .357, so most of those loads are in Federal cases.

Winchester occasionally has thick rims in .44 Spl and Mag, .38 and .357 and .45 Colt, making it tough to fit into shell holders. Because of that issue, Winchester are my least favorite cases for rimmed handgun cartridges. I haven’t had this issue with W-W .45/70, .30-30 and a variety of rimless rifle cases.

Stay safe.

Great. I'll stick with Starline. I have a mix of .357 brass, and not very much of it. Lengths are all over the place. My PMC and R-P is good, but I'm starting to wonder about the condition of the original Super Vel cases I'm still using...

I had a few original Super Vel .38's I shot on Friday...along with some Speer Lawman, Winchester Silvertip and Remington 125 gr "scalloped" JHP in .357...I had to clean out the dregs from a bunch of mish-mosh boxes. ;)

Stay safe.
