They have been out of various calibers for months now and won't answer the phone or e-mail. They make a fantastic 200 grain LSWC in .45 that I shoot in Bullseye every week but I'll have to switch makers if they don't re-supply by the end of the year.

Any other suggestions on different makers. I prefer lead over plated but will use either. RMR has great prices and free shipping.

Thanks,
Bill

I don't know about Bad Man, bummer if they are gone as I like their 230gr .38's.

Check Acme and Missouri Bullet Co's to see if they have what you like/need. IIRC both have a discount code for this forum also (I'm sure MS does as that is who I usually deal with now).

If you are using lighter target loads, hard to beat softer 12 BHN (for better bullet base deformation instead of 18 BHN and harder) 200 gr SWC sold by MBC (Bullseye #1) at $40.38/500 with 5% THR discount (PM'd you MBC discount code) - https://missouribullet.com/details.php?prodId=56&category=5&secondary=13

Z-Cast sells 14-16 BHN 200 gr SWC that also works well with lighter target loads at $36/500 - https://www.jacobeagle.com/product-page/45-acp-200-grain-swc-500-count

Brazos sells Hi-Tek coated 13 BHN 200 gr SWC for $42/525 - http://www.brazosprecision.com/45-200gr-SWCBevel-BaseGrooves-525ct-008bullet_p_12.html

BTW, here's a listing of bullet manufacturers and vendors we have used over the years - https://www.thehighroad.org/index.p...ponents-on-sale.707473/page-178#post-11161685

Brad & Joanne from Missouri Bullet Co make a GREAT lead 200 gr SWC.
They also do the coated thing so they don't need to be lubed.
I ordered 1,000s before I started casting my own.

If I wanted just a trial - They'd be the 1st shop I'd call.

Here lately I’ve been using brazos bullets. Haven’t shot any of their 200gr lswc but I did order a sample pack of them and they look good. Ive also used MBC a lot.

Brazos sounds interesting, but for what I'm looking for, the shipping adds another ~2~ cents each, which puts it up there where 'other opportunities' are readily available.

As far as Brazos being a high quality product, I would not know as I've never used 'em. They might be 'something special',,, Can't say either way,,,

I guess my hesitancy with any new coated bullet Vendor might revolve around paying just a little bit more for some 'tried and true' FMJ's.

(Thanks Jake!)
