A Photo Of The Stainless 60

Nice. I have one just like it that shipped in 1969. Still NIB unfired with all papers and cleaning kit still sealed in the little plastic sleeve.
I just can't bring myself to shoot it. I have a few other J frames to scratch that itch.

Oddly enough, despite the poor lighting and dying camera, that looks exactly like a pre-lock, pinned-barrel S&W Model 60. (smile)

Very nice. I bought mine in the early 90's, does not have the pinned barrel though. Second from right:

That was my bug once upon a time. Nice.

By the time I bought mine in Aug 1998 (with the funds from one of my first 2LT paychecks), the series had evolved into the post-MIM and marginal utility rubber boot grip, but still pre-lock era. I quickly rectified the grip problem and have been happy ever since.

Had one just like it. Bought it for 200 sold it for 400 wish I would have kept it. I carry a 642 these days. A lot lighter but no where near the quality.

As long as that Taurus is reliable it's fine, looks like a 60.
