I think straight 30W would be my choice for longevity but any weight will do to help the gun cycle.

Do not use the FrogLube on your AR- unless you want to glue the action shut...I’m getting FrogLube from Amazon...

In my opinion, grease is okay as long as you use something that stays stable in all temps, and apply it sparingly. I use Superlube grease, which is teflon based, on my BCG and apply it with a Qtip. Just enough to make the surface appear wet.
