Brand new M9A3 rear sight fell off during the first mag. Now, after experiencing Beretta customer support, I can tell you the stories are true.

Anyway, I need a new rear sight. I want either the same as factory, or solid black. Same height, non adjustable etc.

Anyone point me to a source for rear sight only?

Those are all 92fs.
It is a generic term. The dovetails are the same.

Calculating the proper sight height is the thing you need to figure out.

Note the sights on the Wilson Brigadier slide https://shopwilsoncombat.com/Berett...gadier-Tactical-9mm/productinfo/BER-92BRIG-9/

and the sights on the Centurion https://shopwilsoncombat.com/Berett...enturion-Tactical-9mm/productinfo/BER-92CT-9/

that uses a Vertec slide that is the same as the M9A3 and 92X except for the slide length

Beretta finally got me a new sight. With no filing, it pushes right through with hand pressure. The dovetail was milled incorrectly. Its too deep.

Sending it back to Beretta is a last resort. This is Italian marked slide. I don't want an Italian marked frame with a US slide. I don't want a Frankenberetta.

Are there any options available? The old sight had a tit welded on it. I think they did this to try and compensate for the shoddy dovetail. Anything I can do to avoid dealing with Beretta?

Drive the sight in over a thin piece of shim stock. Try a strip of drink can.

THIS!! I had a .010 shim that I stoned/polished down to .006"

And thank you for the humility. I do a lot of field machining, and use various field expedited shims(pennies, nickels etc) I should of thought of this first. My train of thought was going to peening an edge with a punch then driving it in to form to the dovetail.

Again, thank you.
