For slugging a couple 30 caliber rifle bores. I'd be interested in purchasing a few pure lead balls from someone who has them on hand. I don't want to have a whole box on hand since I don't have a 32 muzzleloader. Or maybe I just can use this for an excuse to buy a 32? Haha...

PM me if you have some to let go.

Have you tried ? It's only soft lead going in a steel barrel. You can't hurt anything. Grab a 45 or 50 cal RB and I bet if you beat it in the barrel you'd have a big ring left outside the barrel and a short slug in it. Good luck, let us know how it works out.

i have new 32 cal side lock percussion rifle i will sell you. built it from a kit and it is a good shooter and really looks nice?

Haha, that's one solution to this problem, Probably not interested in another smokepole, but which rifle? Photos?

Goto walmart fishing section and grab a dollar pack of fishing weights of appropriate size.

Yep! Go get some lead egg sinkers in the fishing section. In the past, I used Water Gremlin 1/8 oz. egg sinkers for .30 caliber (for Mosin rifle bores, .313 caliber).

When I get brave enough to go fight the hoards at walmart in the midst of this pandemic (eherm, blue state power flex), I'll bring my calipers and look for a pack.
