7.62x39 upper?

What make is it.

Ive seen them in 308 310 and 311. I know faxon uses 308, I have two barrels from Satarn both are 310, last I looked KAK and I believe green mountion used 311. My 7.62 has been 100% flawless, using nothing but cheap Russian steel cased ammo its a 1.5 1.75 moa shooter.

All I will say is don't make any assumptions on what it will or won't do based on bore size. Mine is .310" bore but it shoots .308" bullets sub moa.

A picture may help,

typically the only markings on an upper to distiguish brands will be on the barrel

My 7.62x39 upper is a .310 barrel and like already mentioned it shoots some not all .308 bullets well. It has a liking to the .308 diameter 135gr FTX bullet, made for a 300blk so it performs very well at the velocity I can get them too.

I daresay that ALL of the 7,62x39 AR barrels referenced in this Thread are probably .30cal bores with varying groove diameters. <ducking>
