I was watching TV tonight when an ad for some TNT channel show called “The Alienist” popped up. Based on the costumes it looks like a late 1800’s - early 1900’s era show. (I’ve never heard of it before now.)
As the ad was rolling I caught a glimpse of a fine looking revolver bring cocked and held by a Police Captain in period uniform. Naturally I rewound the TiVo and paused it on what looks like a 1892 series Army Model in .38 Long Colt...
(Forgive the blue color, in the scene it looked like it was raining.)
With all the sorta goofy gun stuff in movies and TV that jumps out at us, it’s nice to see the prop master on a TV network really got it right.
Stay safe.
