I am not a Vortex man, but Academy had some on closeout yesterday. These are Philippines scopes. I got this one for $98

I decorate my reloading benches w/ military ordnance. Just picked up a pair of 40mm Bofors rounds for a good price.

Installed the binary trigger and folding brace on the Charger. Lots of fun!

Made the deal for this last week or so. Took possession on Tuesday. This is a 'sporterized' (not some twinkie with a chain saw) example of the M1895 (Dutch) Mannlicher carbine in caliber 6.5x53Rmm. This is not the British bespoke (Rigby comes to mind) version, but along those lines. I find the wood in the stock delightful and I see evidence it was originally a military wood stock.

I'm sorry, but I am under a vow.

After watching the recent events of how a innocent person protecting themselves can so easily be charged with Murder, I finally bought CCW Insurance.

Son just bought this, I went in with him..really cool 22 pistol..can't wait for the outdoor shooting areas to re-open..S&W Victory..

Picked up a couple 325 rd boxes of Federal AutoMatch to try out. And some paper targets. Ordered a holster for my P228.

A slightly used Ruger Mini 30, 7.62 x 39 , with a Simmons 3x9x40 Scope. Included were 3 extra 30 round magazines.

This fills the last remaining slot in my gun "library". For now.

Since I made the same decision 4 years ago, I have peace of mind if the horrible happens to me.

Went on a gun shop tour today.
Visited my preferred commercial cast bullet supplier and bought two thousand bullets.
Stopped at another shop and bought some gun powder and primers(300 limit per person per day).
Last shop we visited we picked up a couple more pounds of powder.

Wasn't shopping for firearms but did notice that the handgun cases are still very near empty at all three shops. Rifle and shotgun racks seemed to be relatively full.

I picked up a nice used S&W 645 at a local gun shop. I stopped at Dunham's later that day and found one last box of Blazer Brass 45 ammo.

All inexpensive, Tupperware is gone.

9mm, 45ACP, and .223 ammo is gone.

SP and SR primers are gone.

Pistol and .223 powder is in short supply.

You'd think there was a National Election coming up.

I got a used Marlin 15Y last year for my girlfriend's daughter. It's a dang neat little gun. Very nice, very smooth. Get it.

About all I've been purchasing lately has been "gun related"...... of course, that could be said about me at almost any time!

Today in the mail I got some speedloaders, a Hunter holster, and a Highway Patrolman barrel.

Another 100rd case of Federal 12ga target loads. Maybe I should buy a shotgun to shoot them with soon
