I donate annually to most of the 2nd Amend groups ( but NOT the NRA ). But I have had a good year and want to target one for even more support.

Who do you think is actively doing the best to file new/strong cases to take advantage of the change of balance-of-power at SCOTUS? I'm mostly interested in national groups.

The groups I support are in my signature. I didn't vote because I'm not informed enough on their activities to say which is the most active. They're all doing good work and deserving of my support, though I have some misgivings about the NRA's wise use of my money, so only their NRA-ILA group gets an outright donation. Whether that distinction really makes any difference I don't know, but it keeps me happy.

Since you're looking for an additional group to support, and you're already supporting the same ones I do, you might look into the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Their mission isn't strictly Second Amendment rights related, but they're been interviewed multiple times on the Cam & Co YouTube channel, so they are 2A supporters in a more narrow sense, I guess.

SAF and FPC are bringing forth a lot of lawsuits right now. I follow them on facebook, and they are always posting about lawsuits in various states. Magazine bans in CA, bans on ccw permits in NJ and PA.. I've seen posts where they're actively looking for people who have been denied rights on which to base a lawsuit.

My NRA membership is up for renewal. I spent many many years away from them, and only came back last year because I was getting back into competition. (Scores and classification are tracked by NRA member number.) With last week's revelation of financial misconduct (finally...as though no one knew), I'm again inclined to leave the NRA. I just don't see them doing much for the cause. For the 2020 campaign, they spent half of what they did in 2016.

Remember that "activity" isn't always progress. SAF is the probably the most active in lawsuits, but, and this is important, they are also the most successful from a percentage standpoint. From a legal standpoint they do more good with donations than any other organization.

CCRKBA is under the same roof as SAF (and JPFO), but they're the grassroots activism organization where SAF brings the lawsuits.

can someone tell me what the FPC is? i tried doing fpc.org, but got a forbidden page

thanks in advance.

(i found the SAF site)

For elections and legislation: NRA
For lawsuits: SAF
For your state check out the association doing the lobbying (may or may not be an NRA affiliate). Here it is the MT Shooting Sports Association (MSSA) NOT the MTR&P (NRA state association.
