Are You Hoarding or Simply Stocking Up?

Hoarding or stocking up is a matter of perception. I have about a 2 year supply on hand at my present rate of consumption. My LGS has a good selection of powders at the same prices they were before all the panic so I buy a pound of powder every week. Two reasons, I want to have plenty on hand and I like to check in there once a week on the off chance he might get some primers. I usually order some more bullets online once a month or so depending on how my finances look. Since I'm willing to wait 8-12 weeks I can get them at prices that aren't too bad. I won't pay the $250/1000 or more price of primers that seems to be all that's available so I'm waiting and hoping those prices will fall before I run out of my current supply. It's all a guessing game at this point.

if you're not pawning things or missing mortgage payments, you're probably not really hoarding. if you at some point in the future decide to downscale, you can shoot it or sell it. at the counts you have, I'd consider other supplies and equipment - to round things out IMHO.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO? September, 2020 A Fleet Farm employee had a shopping cart of .45 APC stocking a shelf. A guy walks up and tells the clerk to put it all back in the cart so he can buy it. He pushes the entire cart to check-out and writes a check for around $1500. Really?

I'm good...keep a decent inventory. Recently did an inventory and I should be good for a while

I'd do absolutely nothing unless he was on the 10 items or less line at checkout.
