Correct! Very good stuff. I got a good deal years back for '79 NNY (PPU).

Prvi Partizan (NNY) made in Yugoslavia, Warsaw era. Yugoslavia got broke up in the '90s I believe. Prvi Partizan (PPU) is now in what became Serbia.

Those look like nice clean rounds there. I have had great luck with Surplus Yugo from the 70's on up. The 50's can be pretty sketchy. Right now I am working my way thru 900 rounds of 1954. So far so good.

The time when there were a collection of satellite countries which served as a buffer between the ussr and the rest of europe, which were under communist control, heavily influenced if not entirely controlled by moscow.

Very familiar with the Warsaw Pact...of which Yugoslavia was never a member.

Marshal Tito had a mind of his own.

The Soviet Union's counterpart to NATO

Edit: After reviewing some history, Yugoslavia was not part of the Warsaw Pact, but a communist federation separate from the Soviet Union beginning around 1948. In the 90s Serbia split from Yugoslavia and with Montenegro until 2006 when Serbia became independent.
