Fully ambidextrous pistol?

The Gen 5's have an ambi lever. Some like them, and some cut them off.

The factory extended levers on the other Gens are easily hit with your trigger or middle finger if need be. Same goes for the mag release.

The APX has ambi slide release but not ambi magazine release, just like the Gen5 Glocks.
The mag release can be converted for a left hand shooter. I don't know if that constitutes it as ambi. My version of ambidextrous means no adjustments have to be made for any type of shooter. I think a manufacturer takes the stance as if they make it so that it can be changed out mechanically, then they say it's ambidextrous.

Gonna have to agree with you... stopping shooting to swap parts or waking up to a bump in the night to yell "Time Out": is not quite ambi.
Sure, many lefties have learned to adjust to operating a non-ambi gun. But the OP wants something to be shared between RH and LH with unknown experience between the two.

Many guns exist in the marketplace.

I totally agree. OP asked for a fully ambi pistol to share with a left handed shooter (in the same range session I guess). So pistols like the APX, the Gen5 Glocks, the Walther PPQ M2, etc., are ruled out.
I made my list of fully ambi pistols in one of the first posts and I added some others later.

Wishes for a speedy recovery.
I think you have a good point there. That opens up to some other options like the Ruger SR9, Ruger P95, Arsenal Firearms Strike One, Caracal F, Springfield Armory XD and XDM, Pardini GT9 and GT9-1 and some others.

Out of everything shared, I would suggest a ruger SR9 or SR9c. Fantastic guns, very accurate. Not super expensive and reliable. I've shot both the SR9 and SR9c and can't say enough good about them. If I wasn't a Glock guy it would be the SR9 or M&P series.

I am temporarily a lefty following shoulder surgery.
I have always been a fan of the sr9c, but im totally reliant on it for a while.
I also have a new appreciation for ambidextrous or one-handed knives. View attachment 969360
Yep, that's a good gun right there. Just when I thought ruger was getting a lil out of touch in the autoloader world they released that, I should have bought both of the ones that were offered to me, cheap too. I regret it.

I think the grip and overall design lends itself well to being a very accurate handgun. You can grip it nice and high and don't have alot of grip material in the way of being able to choke right up and achieve a nice low bore axis. I don't often impress myself shooting a handgun in terms of really tight groups, I give alot of the credit to that gun.....

Anyone who has ever shot mine, amatuer or old pistolero alike, has always shot it well.
I am impressed with all the added features.
I would like to stumble into another one somewhere for my mrs.
