My new Kimber

Since there aren’t too many components due to the shortage, my fun gun money was building up, so I decided I needed a new 1911. I already reload for it and have a bunch of it, plus my S&W M&P 45 needed a friend. So bought this Kimber Gold Match II, she is used bought looks cared for and little use. Unfortunately my range is outdoors and snowed in for the moment. So I cleaned her up and
she’s seems to be happy in her new home.

Beautiful pistol! I only own one and it is the .45 Ultra Carry I bought well over 20 years ago. I was a bit astonished at the accuracy of the little pistol and yours should be a tack driver.

There are a lot of folks who like to hate on Kimber 45's and their rifles. But I've found no issues with either of them. My Kimber 45 is the basic Custom II model. The only 1911 I've ever had that I thought was better is the S&W version. I never had any luck with Colt or Springfield Armory.

Their rifles are often berated for poor accuracy, but I found them to shoot just fine.

Looks nice and I bet it performs great.
 
Yes it is killing me. Just when the snow is just starting to recede, we’re due for another 6 to 10 inches of it.
 
I bought a Kimber stainless lightweight when Sportsman's had them on sale for $599. So far it has been absolutely reliable with 230 grain ball and my 200 SWC lead reloads. That's something I can't say for my Springfield Armory or Caspian 2011. I think you will be very happy with your Kimber.
 
Nich choice. Every Kimber 1911 I have owned has been a stellar performer.
 
Love my Ultra-Carry. I have the four inch barrel, once broken in and a Wolf spring installed it is reliable and very accurate, my most accurate pistol.
