Happy shootings - keep ur powder dry

OOH RAH!

I have a first generation, internal extractor equipped Kimber that has been stellar. One hole groups at 21', reliable, tight slide to frame interface, excellent trigger, etc.

You made a good choice. I personally would buy another without hesitation.

Enjoy.

My experiance with Kimber has also been good; I have a 3" Ultra CDP & a 5" Stainless - both Series I pistols. I'd buy another Kimber without hesitation, especially if it has an internal extractor.

FWIW, my pastor also packs - he bought my 4516-1 back in 2001 when I decided to sell it & use the funds on the Ultra CDP purchase!

I have several of the Series I's. They are great 1911's. Mine have been very accurate and dead reliable.

Dobe
