I hate my PMK. The channel is too tight for gun belts and the forward cant is minimal. I use Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 holsters for IWB.
Take a look at the Milt Sparks 55BN and Privateer Leather. Milt Sparks won’t customize their holsters. Wes at Privateer will modify it as needed AND offers many options. You can get it as a pancake holster or Askins Avenger style. I had him make me two Raiders with increased forward cant. Keep in mind he makes the holsters tight, so you have to do some breakin work (it is not difficult).
Another vote for Simply Rugged. Rob will build you one that you will cherish. I order one for every new gun that I buy, and have an order in with him right now.
Our gun belts are made and have always been made of two layers of 6½ to 7 oz leather cut from the backbone of the hide. This equates to approximately 13/64” to 7/32” in overall thickness. Keep in mind that this is the belt thickness we fit our holsters to, and our holsters are intended to fit snug on the belt. Any manufacturers’ belt over 7/32" thick will be somewhat tighter in the loops of one of our holsters than on a belt of our own manufacture. Any measurement over 1/4" in overall thickness of leather and you may not be able to close the snaps over the belt!
I used this guys for my 3"686https://www.blackhillsleather.com. Holster shown. I also bought one from simply rugged. This holster can be converted for IWB or OWB
Sigh...Mr. Smarty...they mismade the channel and it was between 1.25" and 1.5", so a 1.5" belt wouldn't fit. I had them redo it, but since it didn't have much extra leather, they did their best. It's still not right but should work with a Kore Essentials belt.
