So I put a new scope on my FWB Sport, and when I say I put a new scope on I mean fresh out of the box, I plopped it on, tightened down and went to sight in.......

First five shots at 20 yards without touching anything!!! This has NEVER happened to me before with ANY gun. I'm not sure what to do..........almost feels anticlimactic. :D I moved it up a scoche just to have done something. :D

I did the same thing with a Thompson Center Encore in .243. I put my old beater Weaver 6x scope on punched out the x-ring at 25 yards! No adjustments! There was a clay bird in the berm at 300 yards, smoked it. Came home and went fishing.

That happened to me once with a Ruger 10/22. I let a guy next to me at the range who had shown up with only a Mosin try it out and even he was impressed, asking me how long it took to sight it in. I told him it took only the time to clamp it down.

I've only had one gun sight in prefect, it was an AR 5.56 with a SS barrel.
I got it laser sighted first before going to the range. Then at the range I shot the first round it was just left of center, I cleaned the barrel like I do for break in. Shot the 2nd round, I didn't see where the bullet went because it still had one hole in the paper target. I cleaned the barrel again, loaded another round & fired the 3rd shot. Still only one hole in the target. I thought well I'll just fire the next two rounds & see where the bullets are going. After shooting five rounds I was pissed, all the money & time put into this gun and only the one round hit the target. I walked out to the target too see if I could figure it out & saw what was happening. I saw one hole about .30 caliber in size with five little arcs around the edges.
I was shooting a 5.56 & all the rounds went through one hole. It was an easy adjustment after that with just a few clicks to the right.
The funny thing is that barrel didn't last long before the accuracy went away but it was fun while it lasted.
