Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Hi...
Managed to find 400 primers at a LGS today.
200 small rifle and 200 small rifle magnum primers.
Daily limit...200 per type per person per day.
Total cost...just over $40.
Not happy about the jacked up price...but at least I was able to obtain a small increase in available primers.
Cannot locate any Blue Dot, Power Pistol or Tac gun powder anywhere local.

After a long and fruitless COVID duration search, finally things seem to be breaking loose. Found a left had Savage 220! Not as good as pre-COVID pricing, but still a good bit below MSRP, which, these days, is a minor victory unto itself.
Got a scope, covers, and medium height mounts queued up in the Amazon search thingy ready to roll.

I found 10 (50 round) boxes of Magtech 180gr. JHP sitting on the shelf of a gunstore I had never been in before. I bought all 10 boxes and the owner said they had not even been looked at in over a year so he gave me a sweet deal. I I gave the owner my business card and told him if he comes across any more to let me know.

Received an email informing me an 11in 7.62x39 nitride barrel was in stock. My pavlovian response was to purchase it of course.

Picked up a near new HK VP9L OR yesterday from a guy whose astigmatism made a red dot problematic. The irons only long slide has been my winter carry and a heckuva accurate gun.

I’m pumped to.find out if a handgun dot is all it’s made out to be. Ordered a 3.25 moa RMR as soon as I got the pistol home.

Bought a muzzle device, A2 buffer kit and stock to finish up my 223 Wylde rifle build. Just need a handguard and charging handle, an optic and it'll be time for a one man build party.

Two things. A shell catcher for the A400 Beretta I am picking up Monday or Tuesday and an imp mod choke tube for my 686 Essential.

Recently discovered a pretty accurate 7.62x54R handload for my Mosin -Nagant 91/30 that utilizes .310" 123 gr. SP bullets made by PPU intended for SKS use. But I was running low on them until I found that Graf & Sons had some in stock. They also had some 7mm, 150 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tips which was fortunate because I'm also currently loading up some stuff for a 7mm-08 & a 7x57 Mauser. I was expecting to see nothing but "OUT OF STOCK" notifications on their web site but it was nice to see more reloading components available. I may have bought their last bag of those PPU bullets because a short time later their web site showed them as "out of stock".... IMG_1300.JPG ..

At one range/LGS I buy a box-a brick of 22s if they have them, lately I have been buying 32ACPs for my cartridge adapters.

Friday, I saw a Gemini Customs (Marc Morganti) Ruger SP101 at a gun store, in nearby Houston, Texas. Pre-owned, but pristine, this SP101 had apparently been owned by a collector. It was not yet shown, on their website, as it had just arrived. It was almost closing time, so I asked an employee to hold it for me. Y’all can guess what happened Saturday, when I returned.

I have really liked SP101 revolving pistols since the late Nineties, and have several, so, there was no guessing involved.

500 rounds of whitebox 9mm for $160 ($0.32 a round), went in looking for remington #10 percussion caps, and they had just dropped some ammo on the shelf so I grabbed a box.

Hi...
Went on my weekly gun shop tour today.
Five local gun shops...not a single primer to be found.
Did find a single pound of Power Pistol gun powder at one shop.
$23 and change after taxes.
