Help with Hellcat takedown

Buddy asked me to put a laser on his new Hellcat, which I did.
Like to lube it before taking it to the range, but the takedown lever will not move.
Have tried pushing on it with some brass drifts without getting all medieval on it; nada.
Help needed!

5-shots (love the King Tiger) had a dickens of a time turning the takedown lever (finally achieved with a brass drift), now the trigger doesn't want to be pulled.

Okay, full disclosure, initially I was trying to move it the wrong way, but I didn't try to force it. I'm used to the 365, which swings down, rather than up. 5-shots link sorted me out on that, but the dern thing still took an almighty push to move.
Then the trigger didn't really want to be pulled, but a harder yank did it.
I'm virtually fearless with my gun, but this one belongs to someone else.
