"feed slider", is this a lee press? If so, I gave up on adjusting it. Now I have a couple different 1/2 sockets of different weight, and rest it on the slide. If its not feeding all the way, put in a heavier one, if it short strokes, lighter. Also use small padlocks. 100X easier than adjusting the screw, and only takes a few seconds. If this is not a Lee press, ignore that.

Lee Loadmaster. I got out of reloading five or six years back and I'm just getting back into it now that we're retired. The case slider just needed a little lube and then ran fine. I do have a single stage Lyman that I use for loading for rifle. The problem there is we're REALLY good for already rolled and components for her Garand but almost no cases and no bullets for my .303 British Enfield.

100 Rds expended out of a new Ruger Max 9 and now repaired Ruger P 95 DC. Nary a problem with the Max and 3 FTF on the P 95 but I also just replaced the mag springs and it was only the one mag and only the first time I used it. I had forgotten how fast you can go through 100 rds with 2 pistols. Everything fed and fired well with those three exceptions and accuracy was better than expected (and again the wife out shot me with both). Things are dialed in and ready to rock and roll. The question is do I load up all the primed 9mm that's been sitting in a bin for 5 or 6 years or do I dip into my store of small pistol primers and do up the new Winchester 9mm cases I scored?

Thanks to everyone for encouraging me not to give up when it looked like the reloading gods were trying to send me the message to just give it up and sell it all off and offered all the incredibly helpful advice that made it all work.

Yeah it don't take long to burn through a 100 rounds. But you and your wife are having fun doing it. Tomorrow my wife is going to get back behind the trigger with her hand guns. I drew some bad guys on cardboard for her to shoot at.

Very nicely done!!!
Oh wait…. Row 1 Column 7, you trying to set off a primer???

You’re going to reload them all eventually, especially if there are others involved, so it doesn’t matter. Personally I’d save the naked primers because you don’t know if you’re going to reload other calibers that require them. It’s sooooooooo easy to go through 100 rounds when the day is nice. Good luck.

Captain Quack.

I would use up the primed cases first. Keep your new primers for when you need them. aka a new caliber

Excellent idea! I hadn't considered another caliber. I wouldn't mind another 1911. I'm one of those strange ones. I like them both types. Country and Western lol (who knows the movie?)

I would use up what is primed already.

Unused primers in the original box can be used for any caliber and also have monetary and trade value far above whatever primed cases have.

How do you like the Max 9? I’ve been carrying LC9 forever, and love the size

2 hours tweeking the powder measure and the feed slider. 40 minutes pulling the leaver.

So you decided not to sort your brass by manufacturer huh?

Just something to think about ... eventually you will want to sort your brass not only by manufacturer but by how many times it's been reloaded (once fired, twice fired, thrice fired, etc) and then (more-so with rifle and straight-walled Magnum pistol) you'll sort by brass weight, etc., eventually.

Figure-out your system now and how you are going to categorize it and store it between reloadings ... baggies or bins or boxes or Tupperware ... it begins the moment you fire those reloads and collect-them-up once again. It'll be twice fired ... and that'll make a big difference the next time you do case inspections.

Good job on your first batch.

I am LOVING it!!! Fits the hand very nicely. Recoil is very manageable. I do like the 12 + 1. You get 1 twelve and one 10 mag with it. I have 2 more 12's on back order from Ruger. Now if I would do my part right I might be able to do better than hitting a paper plate 3 out of 10 at 15 yards. I love the trillium front site. I need to find a good holster for it. One outside the waistband and one inside waistband. I have a older Bianchi Pancake that I'm using right now. It fits well it but It's still a pretty big holster.

nice! I’m a IWB carry guy. I added a Colt Defender to my carry rotation. I know it only 8 rounds but thats what a spare mag is for.

I do sometimes have to carry a "man purse". Room in there for my Ruger P95 DC. Not the fastest draw in the world but better than nothing at all. Airborn Falcon. That's definitely something to consider. I did manage to score 700 Winchester 9MM cases. Sorting by head stamp I can do with this current batch but what is the purpose of that? sorting by number of times shot makes sense. This batch I have no idea how many times they have been fired and my stock of primed 9mm is the same.

NICE! man purse is the new cool thing! I’m bring back fanny packs and mullets!

I’m about to crank up a progressive press for the 1st time for .45acp with SPP pocket. Wish me luck!

Good luck Mark_Mark! It might take a bit of tweeking but once your set it's so nice to just pull the lever and see a brand new shiny bullet pop out the other side. What did you buy?
My Wife has to use 2 canes so she can't carry a purse so she carries her Taurus 605 in a bum pack with a holster built in and a quick access flap.

Dillion Square B Deal . it only does one caliber.

If your only going to be doing 1 caliber it looks like a nice little cost effective rig. I bought my Lee Loadmaster to celebrate quitting smoking and because my Wife had gotten into Cowboy Action Shooting in a big way and that ammo was not cheap off the shelf. A friend suggested I look at reloading and then it was mostly .38 custom cowboy loads and then I got into 9mm for my pistol. Then her .357 magnum. Then 30 carbine. Then 30'06 for her Garand. Then .303 British for my Enfield. Then .45 ACP. I stopped there.
