Good to see things are becoming available again. I will hold out for lower prices though. As said at least there is something available for those that need some now. I am figuring that a 20% or so price increase from a couple years ago will be where things settle in the end. We shall see.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's not 2019 prices, BUT, it's available incase yall need to stock up for yourselves or the little ones.

I wouldn’t “stock up” at those prices but if you need some to shoot, that’s better than people paying those prices and then jacking them up.

I’d wait until this panic is gone and the glut in the market has the shelves full and “sales” appear to get people to buy something. That is the time to stock up. The people that are getting everything they can right now are the ones that will be kicking themselves in the butt and paying interest on the debt they ran up with the panic pricing.

I got some CCI for maybe a dollar a box more than a year or so ago. I'm guessing that may be the new price. Having gone thru several of these shortages before, prices never seem to go all the way back down. 22 dollar powder went up to $35, came down to around 26 as the the new base. $25 primers went close to 40, came back to maybe 28 to 30. These prices, as I remember them, were with legitimate dealers at gun shows mostly. Not the rip off guys. The 22 mini-mags I got at CCI for $11.99 seemed like a normal price, bought ten boxes and got free shipping. I looked at the CB 22 short subsonic, it think they were $13.99, I used to pay $12 so I don't think these are rip off prices, as we all have all seen. I think these are the new MSRP.

This morning my favorite LGS has Aguila 40gr something for 3.99 a box of 50. Said I could buy up to a 1/2 case (2500). I passed on it because I still have 5 or so cases, but ammo seems to be coming back.

I guess the CCI website is still a bit pricy, but I don’t know when it will get back to the rock bottom prices of a few years ago. I have plenty but have been shooting a lot lately so I ordered 500 Quiet (for the grandkids with the Henry) and 500 of the Standard Velocity. Quiet was $6/50 ($0.12/round) and Standard was $5/50 ($0.10/round). Not great but not horrible for quality ammo that shoots great from my guns.

My idea of "stocking up" is only a brick or two, but stacking is when you order cases.

So yes, I agree. Stock up but don't stack at these prices.
