I have this older model powder measure and starting yesterday, my display is jumping around and it’s not weighing with consistent results. The humidity increased a little over the past couple days, but not terrible in the reloading room and I run a dehumidifier. The problem is intermittent. Thanks for any advice.

These are my generic check for electronic scales.
How far away is my phone?
Are there florescent lights nearby?
Is there a fan blowing air?
Is the power supply correct? (New batteries, or properly plugged in)

Usually my phone or battery is my internment drift issue.

Is there a way to clean the scale? Dont have one of those but if my digital got propellant flakes between the scale pan and base it would go bonkers. But you need to know how to clean it without dstroying it. I do not use compressed air as that could damage things with a lot of pressure. Youtube is your friend.

I can not load in the garage on a windy day, even with the garage door shut, because the changing air flow/pressure from the big metal door getting sucked out and blown back in will throw my scale off.

Thanks, all. I’ll check into cleaning it. I’ve never done that and I’m not even the original owner. Yes, I do calibrate it and made sure there were no electronics around.

After two day of issues, the problem stopped yesterday and hasn’t occurred since. I’ve been checking using another scale, and it’s totally back to normal. I think it was the warmest it has been this year and it started cooling off yesterday. Even my humidifier stopped for the first time in a few days. So, I believe it is correlated to that and possibly combined with cleanliness or another issue…or death throes. I’ll keep it under watch.

I have a Lyman G6, it occasionally drifts up and then back down a few 10ths. Even though it's on a separate table, the problem was I was seating bullets and crimping on my single stage while it was measuring. I'm not on a concrete floor, so the vibration was jenking it.
