Could you clarify your terminology?will a Wilson combat carry size grip frame work with a full size slide?
thx
It is confusing as the OP is not properly capitalizing and is asking about a grip frame rather than a grip module. Are you asking about SIG P320 models?
It is because the frame of the SIG P320 is the chassis of the Fire Control Unit...for the purpose of ATF serialization. The grip module can't be the frame...it is much like the STI/SVI polymer grip modulesThis new use of "grip module" to mean "integrated frame and grip" is still bending my brain.
Medium is relative when there are four lengths of slides...3.6", 3.9", 4.7", and 5"I was referring to Sig 320 grip module. Apparently " carry" is size medium slide.
A bit more clear when you think of them chronologically:It's a bit confusing because they are categorized by slide length AND grip size.
They'll work, just might look a little awkwardCan mix & match slide assemblies and grip modules but not ever combination will work.

A bit more clear when you think of them chronologically:
1. Full Size (FS) - 4.7" barrel/slide and 17rd magazine
2. Compact - 3.9" barrel/slide and 15rd magazine
3. Sub-compact - 3.6" barrel/slide and 12rd magazine
4. Carry - 3.9" barrel/slide with 17rd magazine and shortened dustcover
5. M17 - 4.7" barrel/slide and Carry grip module
6. M18 - same as Compact
7. X-Five - 5" barrel/slide and FS grip module (but recontoured) and addition of an enlarged magazine well/funnel
8. X Carry - 4.7" barrel/slide and recountoured Carry grip module
9. X Compact - 3.6" barrel/slide and recontoured Compact grip module
10. AXG - Carry size with alloy grip module
They'll work, just might look a little awkward
Oops, you're right...thanks for the correction...it is just a difference in slide/barrel from the M17Just to clarify, the M18 is the same as the "CARRY" and not the compact.
