What's your pocket pistol

Pocket carry is overrated. When I get the funds up, my choice would be either a PPK or 642, AIWB

So . . . what do you currently have and how do you carry it?
Nada, on both counts. However, from borrowing a friend's, and practicing; pocket carry simply won't cut it- not for me, nor for what I wear day to day. I would be better served with an AIWB or "other" yet undetermined set-up, with either a Centennial Smith or subcompact steel .380

Cool. I started with IWB and I couldn't adapt to that very well. So I moved on to pocket, shoulder, and OWB. Due to my work, pocket carry is at least 90% of how I carry.

Okay, that's not entirely true. My first pocket gun is the Beretta 21A and I normally carried it in a fanny pack (lol) back in the day while running or cycling. :D

At one time I had five true pocket guns, now I only have three and one of them (Beretta 21A) is never carried anymore

I love when I go to edit, but somehow quote myself. A long week and not enough coffee.

I started with pocket, moves to IWB, and went to OWB. My dress allows that.

Right-hand belt carry is not the best choice, however, for a car-jacking situation, and those have been becoming much more frequent in our area. If they just take the car, that's annoying, and very scary. Those are the best case, too.

A new LCP Max now sits in a left-hand pocket. I do not want to have to test it.

Beretta M21A .25 acp.

Sometimes an LCR .327

Keltec P32 .32 works fine but harder to shoot as well as the top two. (Because it's really skinny, sights very tiny, and trigger pull very long)

LCPII for a few years now but I did try a Sig P365 today and it fits in the jeans pocket fine so I believe that's the direction I am going to go.

LCP with a Hogue grip, sometimes I'll even carry it AWB when I know I'll be sitting or driving for long periods.

Over the years I've learned to shoot it surprisingly well. My hit rate on 14" steel is about 50% at 25 yards. I think that's not bad for something with almost no sights and what most people think is a bad trigger. I've done thousands of dry fires for practice on it. The guy that sold it to me hated it :)

I'm eyeballing the new LCP Max as a possible replacement.

S&W 442 Centennial Model .38 Special.

My rational is that if you can’t do it with 5 .38s, you need to learn how to shoot or it’s frankly just your time. Small revolvers are always more reliable than small autos. A contact shot with the muzzle pressed against the attacker will jam an automatic, not so with the wheelgun. Also the revolver can fire a wider variety of loads and bullet profiles. Snake shot will blind an attacker and can be used for four legged and no legged vermin, and is my choice carry load for the first two rounds. If that isn’t enough, three DEWC loads are up last.

You do you, but I would personally heavily advise against snake shot in your carry piece. 5x wadcutters is far better than 3x wadcutters and 2x snake shot, and your thoughts of "blinding an attacker" with it holds as much water as those folk that carry snake shot in a Judge to "blind their attacker". Quite frankly, the moment of truth arrives, I don't want to rely on the questionable ability of snake shot for anything other than a mouse or small snake. I also like your choice of DEWC in a snub .38- no expansion beyond slight mushrooming (it that) but very low recoil and far easier to handle than those "+P" (bah, the nonsense) self defense loads everyone is fond of that may or may not expand from a snub nose.
