Anyone have a good link or source for a pad that is fit to the 94 stock?

Hopefully i can find one to save on grinding and shaping a universal?

My wife needs one on her rifle as she has some shoulder problems and any thing will help as she really likes the rifle.

Why not get one of the slip on pads, that way you won't have to modify the rifle.

I have both the pacmar and limb saver. When a slip on is a little loose I use a wrap of tape. The added length of.pull is great for me and not grate for my 12 yo.
found the Pacmyer but appears to be discontinued everywere i seen? thank you for the info i will look at limb saver.

I am not sure if you will be able to find a made to fit screw on recoil pad. I was under the impression that all after market pads are grind-to-fit.

Not sure a pad will help much. There just isn't that much recoil But... due to the shape of the stock some shooters get smacked in the face from the rifle comb and that makes them uncomfortable to shoot. Stock shape is very important and while on paper a 308 has more recoil. I find recoil from a 308 bolt rifle with a modern stock design much more comfortable than lever action 30-30's.

But if you do go with any type of recoil pad do do it right you also need to cut the stock down and make it shorter. Pads are thicker than the plate on there now and that changes the Length of Pull. Which can also have an effect on recoil.

Maybe buy a Boyd’s butt stock with a pad and have it made to the length of pull that’s good for her. Take off the original, so if you want to sell it it can be put back to stock condition. :)

Cost won’t be much more than a custom fit one.

Just a thought.
Stay safe.
