I bought a couple of Thril mags for my Sig MPX. The Lancer mags are good, but they're not $55 good. The Thrils OTOH, for $26 each after a 30% discount and holding 5 more rounds, what have I got to lose?
I just ordered a QD sling swivel (had to buy two) from Amazon for my new SDS AR T-02 riot gun.
I replaced the magazine tube cap with a plus 2 extension and unlike the stock cap, it doesn't have a built in sling swivel. Instead it has a support for the barrel and extension with a QD stud on the attachment screw.
At my local Academy yesterday. I have plenty of .380 self defense rounds but only had minimal practice rounds. This same 200 round count Russian manufactured Monarch was $55 pre COVID. Now $90. I hesitated paying the premium COVID price but It’s been months since I have seen any .380 on the shelf.
First .38 Special I have seen on the shelf in a long time. Was $22 a box of 50 pre COVID now $30.
I guess these prices are the new norm for range ammo.
I bought two new holsters for my new G2C to carry. One IWB and one OWB to see which I prefer. I also bought some new bins to organize and store my "American Rifleman" magazines. I have EVERY issue, in order from 1924 until now. It's a LOT of magazines and weighs about half a ton judging by how much my truck squatted when I moved it all from my fathers house a year ago! Pretty cool though to go back through the years and see just how shooting and shooting sports(and shooting magazines/NRA) have evolved!
I purchased (1000) pre-cut Southern Bloomer cleaning patches. They came Thursday. No more (maybe) cut up soiled underwear, T-shirts, or bath towels. And sometimes socks . There will be an official test this weekend. These patches are either expensive or I am simply too tight with my money.
A few days ago I bought two Bulldog belt slide holsters for my snub 38 and Walther PP 32 acp.
I just went to Academy and bought a box of Hornady 240gr XTP bullets for $34.99. Thats a dollar cheaper than what Midway USA wants for the same box of bullets. I never thought I would see the day when Academy was cheaper than Midway on reloading stuff.
Trigger Accurizing Kit for my Colt 1911 22 ( Walther ) I also got in my new Mainspring Housing and complete parts to fill it. Got my new adjustable trigger and a new mainspring
