Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Picked up a box of Nosler .280 AI 140 grain BT's to baseline my two rifles chambered in that cartridge. I have all I need to hand load for them, but I'm curious as to how the factory load performs.

Attended one of those eeevil gun shows today. Found - and bought a box of Sierra 155 grain 6.5mm bullets, a small bag of eleven mismatched rounds of 8x50mm (French) Lebel ammunition to match an M1886 Lebel rifle, a mismatched bag of - over a box, anyhow - .25 ACP ammunition, some with cupronickel jackets, and a set of S&W N-frame "Magna" grips (what the revolver typically had when new). The grips are a bit worn, but the revolver itself looks run hard and put away wet.

And, I got to see some friends from gun shows I haven't seen in far too long.

I guess I'm odd (been mentioned before), I enjoy gun shows.

A micro red dot to put on my S&W 15-22. Solid but the included rail was out of spec, it turned out to be lower third co-witness despite their claims, and the dot is fuzzy, so it got returned.
Decided to train without it more, so spent the money (and extra) on a Midwest T1 style mount for the Romeo 5 on my AK.

A Leapers dovetail to Picatinny rail with more secure attachment, for my shotgun, to replace the polymer one and the screw that sheered off in the gun.

Update: Got the rail, and despite the Chinese instructions, it seems to fit well and be secure.

I just picked up an Aimpoint H-1 to fit the Aridus CROM mount for my Beretta 1301 Tactical. Pretty stoked to be able to try it out soon (still nursing a surgically reconstructed right shoulder at the moment).

Ordered a new red dot that should be here Monday. Super skeptical of it, but it got a lot of great reviews on Amazon. Sightmark Mini Shot M-Spec in FDE. My slide is cut for the Vortex Viper, which has the bafflingly stupid design of the lock screws for the aiming adjustment screws on the rear of the unit. This means that to adjust your red dot, you have to remove your rear sights.

Plus, my last two Vortex sights have failed. Searched exhaustively for a sight that had the same footprint with the features I wanted. The Sightmark was it. $200.

Then today, stopped by the LGS and found lots of bullets, ammo, and firearms. No Primers...

But, then I spotted these; a bag of Winchester 10mm brass! Haven't seen them for over a year and impossible to find online.

Grabbed them and scurried to checkout like I was a shoplifter, lol.

I had the Vortex Viper on my handgun and it too had a fuzzy dot. It also stopped working on my during a match. I sent it in for warranty work and they replaced it with another Viper.

That too went bad so when I sent it in I asked for a Venom instead and they made the swap. I've been happy ever since. Hated having to take the sight off to change the battery.

Last night I decided to add an EGW trigger to my 1911 22 build. I also bought two of their sear springs that are supposed to be lighter.

I've had good luck with EGW in the past so this should be the last upgrade I do on my gun. Ha Ha Ha.

I tried to go shooting yesterday, but the range was closed for repairs.

They did make me a deal I couldn't refuse on a gently used Sig P938 though, so not a totally wasted trip. The range should be up and running again when I go back to pick it up.:)

I know they have advantages (when they work), but man, stories like these confirm my faith in sights that dont require batteries......

Believe it or not, at Walmart of all places, what must be the last existing can of aerosol-spray Rem oil. Plus a couple of other gun care products. Noted three or four lonely boxes of shotgun shells; all other ammo space denuded.

Ruger American Ranch Rifle, .350 Legend; scope and rings; 20 round magazine.

Can't get my mind off that CZ97B the LGS had on display. So.... might be more!!
