I picked this up for a song today

I already have an older Mini-14 and a Mini-30, but I couldn’t pass up buying another one.

I picked up a trade-in 583- series stainless Mini-14 with the 18” barrel for $359.99.

If, and that’s a big if, this rifle has fired more than 20 rounds through it after it left the factory I will be shocked.

It didn’t come with rings or a magazine, but I doubt I’ll scope it and I have several mags, so I’m good there. :thumbup:

For comparison, the local chain-LGS Turners Outdoorsman had the same model in their flyer in December for $1,199.00 (New guns, not trade ins). The condition, and more importantly the price, is why I just couldn’t say no.

I've been trying to find a mini 14 I could afford almost since I traded my last one, If you can find them here they're going for new prices lol.

Great score. I loved my Mini-30. I like the 5rd magazines for them, they are one of the semi auto carbines that look good with a flush fit magazine.....

That's a real good score. I would have jumped on that that immediately.
 
Damn at that price I would have grabbed it too. You could easily turn around and sell it for a lot more just for the asking. Nice find.
