I've tried a wide variety of brands over the years for just about every common application.
For decades my "go-to brand" was Speer. Then Hornady caught my attention and I'm pretty well hooked on that for defensive handgun rounds. For rifle ammo, I'm still using Speer.
A few years back, the only thing available was Barry's Bullets so I was forced to try them.
I was extremely skeptical at first... due to the availability and very low prices but for plated cast bullets, they aren't bad.
Of course I carefully checked each one at first, then randomly... a few from each box after that & they have been remarkably consistent. (Insert jokes here)
For target shooting / range use, they are perfectly acceptable. Are they match grade? Of course not. But for teaching safety / general target shooting I think they are fine.
And the price can't be beat.

I shoot handgun lead. Get my lead exclusivly from Georgia Arms out of Georgia. When they attend the gun show i call them and they bring down what i need so no shipping. They also have primers and powder too.
State of Georgia or Republic of...?

Seriously, before I started loading I bought ammo from these guys (I think the same outfit) at gun shows.

For lead I only shoot Bear Creek Supply moly coated bullets.
For jacketed target rounds, Berry’s or Xtreme.
Pistol SD - Hornady

I plan to take up hunting again once I leave CA so my PA and WV woods deer guns gun will get Sierra FP ammo (30-30)

My preference depends upon what I’m doing and with what I’m doing it. Might be a big Swift A-Frame, might be a Berger Hybrid, might be a Hornady V-max, might be a Nosler Partition… just depends what I’m doing and with what I’m doing it.

For Jacketed pistol bullets Zero Brand.
For lead pistol bullets I cast and powder coat my own.
For precision rifle my favorites are Berger Juggernaut and Sierra Match King.

Due to the current price and availability of both Berger and Sierra in Canada I’ve been shooting a lot more Hornady in the past year and I can say I’m quite impressed.

Do you size your bullets after casting?

The majority of my plinking bullets come from Everglades Ammo. Speer and Hornady fill out the rest with some plinking and some hunting bullets.

Rambling

I know non-lead bullets bring some politics along but setting that aside I have been really having good performance.

Barnes TSX in my 450 Bushmaster

Maker REX in my 300 BO.

Going back to lead

Berry's plated for 300 BO plinking.

My 6mm CM really does well with Barnes Match Burners (traditional cup and core)

For my Webleys both a Mark IV and Mark VI Matt's Bullets make some very faithful reproduction for those two revolvers.

For USPSA Revolver I like IBEJIheads powder coated lead

I use to love Montana Gold in my semi-autos for USPSA but the price got a bit steep.

For handgun and muzzle-loader (in a sabot) hunting I like Hornady XTP bullets.

Favorite or most used?
If I can choose. Nosler. If my pocket book does. Hornady;)
Really the difference in accuracy is slight. But the cost difference is huge.

Lapua Scenar.

I shoot 155's in my 308, 139's in my 6.5CM. That is the ONLY bullet I keep in stock for the 6.5. It is my preferred 308 bullet, but I do have a good supply of Hornady and a few Noslers around.

Pistol: Hornady, RMR and Berry’s

Rifle: Hornady and Speer

I like Hornady’s quality but not the price. Usually only buy when Midway runs a sale.
