New member here, hello to all. I own and shoot semi-autos and revolvers. I prefer the revolvers, they fit my hand better, I shoot better. 50 yds. offhand .38 spl. revolvers is the game my friends and I have been playing for years. I have a modest collection of CC snubbies and a jones for more 3 and 4" wheelguns. However, the paucity of stock in the marketplace is making me cranky. I reload for a variety of handgun calibers and for my black powder cartridge rifles. And, of course, like everyone here I own a flintlock. Retired architect, I like building things and making stuff. Do some occasional product design, some of it revolver related: www.speedcaseusa.com. Lately I've been getting into leatherwork, an IWB holster is in progress.

I brought treats (Do you come to my house without bearing gifts? I think not.)

Howdy. I enjoy a fine revolver myself. That’s a nice collection. Mmmm, that 696 is sweet.

I however..... don’t have a flintlock.

I do reload though, and cast. It’s as much fun as guns themselves for me.

I’m more into single action rugers than anything right now. And I have a love of knives.

Welcome to The High Road. I also prefer revolvers. You have a nice collection there.
I used to have a couple BP revolvers but I gave them to a friend. I haven’t owned a flintlock, but have considered buying a kit gun.

Welcome to THR, I love my revolvers as well. I prefer big bore single actions but do have a couple Super RedHawks and snubbies for cc.

Welcome! Have you played with 32 caliber revolvers yet? If not, I highly recommend them!

SteadyD, at the moment I have only these two .32 (capable) revolvers - a Lipsey GP and an LCR, both in .327 Federal. I'd very much like to acquire additional .32 caliber wheelguns and it's the first thing I look for when scanning the listings of the LGSs. However, I think there may be others who also have this ambition because whenever a listing does appear it seems to disappear in a heartbeat. I'll keep trying.

I suppose the Rev. Forsyth was a nice enough gentleman with good intentions and all... but that percussion cap business? New fangled gimmickry! (And to think it took 200 years for someone to take that one step forward. Amazing really.)
